HAYWARD, CA – On Saturday, July 13 from 9 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., U.S. Representative Eric Swalwell (CA-15) will host a presentation and workshop for DREAMers, undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children, to learn about and apply for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). DACA, a Department of Homeland Security program, removes the threat of deportation for DREAMers who meet certain requirements.

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Eric Swalwell (CA-15) today announced that three Community Health Centers in the 15th Congressional District were awarded grants from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to hire more outreach workers to provide enrollment assistance and information about the affordable health coverage options made available by the Affordable Care Act. The grantees are: Axis Community Health in Pleasanton, Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center in Union City and Tri-City Health Center in Union City, Fremont, Hayward and Livermore.

H. Res. 287, the Members Operating to Be Innovative and Link Everyone (MOBILE) Resolution, would enable Members to participate in committee hearings and vote on non-controversial suspension bills remotely.
