Instructions

Thank you for your interest in the U.S. Service Academies!

As part of serving California's 14th District in the U.S. House of Representatives, I have the great privilege each year of nominating a limited number of people to four of the five service academies. The honor of attending a service academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation. For more information, please review my page of Frequently Asked Questions for those seeking a Military Academy Nomination.

If you're interested in attending a service academy, please join us for a Service Academy Information Night providing insights and details about our nation's service academies and the application process on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 6 PM PT at the Castro Valley High School Library. (19400 Santa Maria Ave, Castro Valley, CA 94546) Please note the library is located inside the school’s main gate at the corner of Santa Maria and Mabel Avenues.

In order to be considered for a service academy nomination, please complete the Service Academy Nomination Application and return it with all supporting documentation to my District Office no later than 5:00 P.M. Pacific Time on Friday, November 10, 2023. If you have any issues downloading the application, please call our office at 510-370-3322.
