U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell (CA-15) introduced legislation Tuesday to name the U.S. Post Office in Dublin after the late Dr. James ‘Jim' Kohnen, a lifelong public servant of the Tri-Valley community.
The legislation was co-sponsored by all 53 Democratic and Republican Members of California's Congressional Delegation. The post office facility is located at 6937 Village Parkway in Dublin.
U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell is declaring now that the Transportation Security Administration has decided to delay implementing its new policy allowing certain knives and sporting equipment on plans.

The Members specifically requested that the Appropriations Committee allow for robust funding for FEMA's Transit Security Grant Program (TGSP).
