DALLAS, TX – U.S. Representative Eric Swalwell (CA-15) today participated in a House Homeland Security Committee field hearing on Ebola at the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) airport. Swalwell discussed with health officials how the federal government is working to control the Ebola outbreak in West Africa and prevent a serious outbreak in the United States. The Department of Homeland Security will be implementing enhanced security procedures at the five international airports in the U.S. that account for over 90% of travel to the U.S. from areas affected by Ebola.
