Eric Swalwell (CA-15) today introduced the Strengthening Forgiveness for Public Servants Act to enhance the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLFP), which offers student loan forgiveness to teachers, police officers, public health workers and others who dedicate their careers to public service.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Fifty House Democrats led by Rep. Eric Swalwell (CA-15) asked Speaker Paul Ryan on Tuesday to create a more transparent U.S. Congress by revising the policy that prohibits Members from using cameras on the House Floor.
The letter to Ryan also asks that C-SPAN be allowed to control its own camera feed, rather than having the cameras remain subject to House control.
