Pleasanton's meeting will be 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Harvest Park Middle School, 4900 Valley Ave. Pleasanton Mayor Jerry Thorne will also be present.
The Hayward meeting will be 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Firefighters' Union Hall, 22734 Main St. Hayward Councilman Mark Salinas will also be present.
Residents will have a change to air concerns and ask questions.
Swalwell will answer questions and talk about the services his Congressional office offers.

LIVERMORE, CA – Congressman Eric Swalwell (CA-15) today attended the announcement of the public-private partnership between Sandia National Laboratories and Livermore-based solar energy company Cool Earth Solar, both located within Swalwell's district. The five-year agreement will pioneer the company's unique solar energy technology at Sandia's Livermore Valley Open Campus, which brings academia and business together with researchers from the national laboratories to work on today's biggest science and engineering problems.

Murphy and other freshmen plan to form a bipartisan caucus to work toward solutions.

If the tea party class of 2010 was elected to stand athwart trillion-dollar deficits, yelling "Stop!," the 2012 class seems to think it was elected to give peace a chance.

"This freshman class is going to work in a bipartisan manner. We're not the last Congress — that was the ‘my way or the highway' mentality. We want to work together," said freshman Rep. Patrick Murphy, D-Fla.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Eric Swalwell (CA-15) joined a letter signed by over 30 new Democratic and Republican Members of the House pledging to work together and calling for the President and Congress to do the same to address our country's economic challenges. The letter was sent to House leadership and reaffirms the country's promise to our seniors to preserve Social Security and Medicare, recognizes that both revenue and spending must be part of any solution, and calls on both parties to work together in the nation's interest.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) applauded the introduction in the House of the Assault Weapons Ban, of which he is an original cosponsor, to ban assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition feeding devices. Swalwell agreed to cosponsor the bill in December and has been working since then at the request of its House sponsor, Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY), to encourage fellow new Members of Congress to lend their support as well.
