Swalwell to Host Two Constituent Events in Coming Weeks

CASTRO VALLEY, CA – The office of Rep. Eric Swalwell (CA-15) will host two events in coming weeks for 15th Congressional District residents.

Event #1

SENIOR RESOURCE FAIR & SCAM STOPPER SEMINAR

WHEN: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, July 30

WHERE: Eden United Church of Christ, 21455 Birch St., Hayward, CA 94541

WHO: Congressman Swalwell’s staff, Senior Scam Stopper speakers from the California Contractors State License Board, representatives from local agencies serving seniors

WHAT: The Senior Scam Stopper seminar (10 a.m. to noon) will provide information on protection against construction-related scams as well as fraud involving identity theft, auto repair, Medicare, foreign lotteries, and mail. The resource fair (noon – 1 p.m.) will offer information from several community organizations providing services to senior citizens. This event is free and open to all 15th District senior citizens, their families, and caregivers.

Event #2

15TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT TOWN HALL

WHEN: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, August 4

WHERE: Hayward High School, 1633 East Ave., Hayward, CA 94541

WHO: Congressman Eric Swalwell

WHAT: The Congressman will provide a brief update on what’s happening in Washington, D.C., and then will take questions. This event is free and open to all 15th District residents; for speedier entry, residents are encouraged to print free tickets through EventBrite at https://tinyurl.com/CA15TownHall.

California’s 15th Congressional District includes San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, Sunol, Hayward, Union City, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Cherryland, Ashland and Fairview as well as parts of Fremont and Danville.
