Washington, D.C. -- Today, the Homicide Victims' Families Rights Act – a bill that will give more rightsto the families of homicide victims in federal cases, passed the U.S. House of Representatives. The bipartisan bill introduced by Representatives Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Michael McCaul (R-TX) now heads to the U.S. Senate for consideration.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) returned from leading a bipartisan delegation of House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence members and staff to the Ukrainian border.

Over the 5-day trip, the group held consultations at the U.S. Embassy Budapest, met with Ukrainian refugees in the Hungarian town of Zahony, including working a shift at Jose Andres' World Central Kitchen, and visited the U.S. Mission to Finland – the only non-NATO E.U. state which shares a border with Russia.
