CASTRO VALLEY, CA – Rep. Eric Swalwell (CA-15) will host a "Hike With Your Rep" event for 15th Congressional District residents on Saturday, June 19.
"Our last pre-pandemic town hall meeting, back in January 2020, seems like a million years ago – we've all been through a lot since then. But as we re-emerge from COVID restrictions, I'm eager to see my constituents in person again," Swalwell said. "I'll give a quick talk at the start, chat with as many of you as I can while we walk, and we'll stop about halfway through for a group question-and-answer session."

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, Congressman Eric Swalwell (CA-15) announced Anica Xie, a sophomore at Amador Valley High School, as the winner of the 2021 Congressional Art Competition for the 15th District.
Anica's artwork, entitled "Black Lives Matter," will be sent to Washington, D.C. and displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year. The second and third place pieces will be displayed in the Congressman's Castro Valley office.
Angel Turner still hopes to find justice in the 1997 slaying of her sister, Georgia Leah Moses. Moses—who would've turned 36 this year—was last seen alive at age 12, not far from her Santa Rosa, Calif. home; her strangled, decomposed body was found about a week later in a grove of trees off Highway 101 near Petaluma. The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office released a sketch of a man Moses was believed to be last seen with, but he was never identified and police never named a person of interest in the case.
WASHINGTON, DC – Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) today reintroduced the bipartisan Homicide Victims' Families Rights Act, to give more rights to the families of homicide victims in federal cases.
Swalwell and McCaul are both former prosecutors: Swalwell, who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, was an Alameda County (Calif.) deputy district attorney, while McCaul was a federal prosecutor and a Texas deputy attorney general.
